Hospital medicine centres itself. Sector-overlapping, multidisciplinary medical centres are to render patient therapy more efficient. Forming one organizational unit, different medical disciplines perform problem-oriented medicine. Interdisciplinary cooperation is in great demand in breast, bowel and prostate gland centres. However, the Professional Association of German Pathologists is warning of an elementary missdevelopment in the creation of centres.
