General information |
The pathology practice provides extensive pathology services for the south oldenburg area.
The diagnostic evaluation of tissues provided by surgical and
non-surgical medical disciplines is a major part of this service.
Surgical specimens, biopsy samples, aspiration and smear
cytologies are analysed and evaluated. Also, clinical autopsies are
performed, either to establish the cause of death or to help clarify
the underlying disease.
Clinical-pathological meetings, held on a regular basis, are also part or our service.
The pathology practice was set up in 1998.
