When requesting a written report, histological slides and
paraffin-embedded tissue samples, please keep to the following
procedure:

|
– Requesting histopathological reports, histological slides or paraffin-embedded tissue samples must be made in writing.
|
|
|
– Histopathological reports, histological slides and paraffin-embedded
tissue can only be requested by medical colleagues or insurers with the
patient’s consent.
|
|
|
– Requested histopathological reports, histological slides and
paraffin-embedded tissue samples will be sent by mail after we have
received the patient’s consent or the doctor’s referral.
|
|
|
– Histopathological slided and paraffin-embedded tissue samples will
only be sent to pathologists or histomorphologically working
dermatologists.
|
|
|
– The expenses incurred by sending the reports etc must be reimbursed
by the requesting doctor, the requesting institution (for example the
hospital) or the medical insurance company.
